About us
Toftas Kennel began breeding in 1990 and we have about 1-2 litters per year.
Our puppies are bred and raised in our home with us and our other dogs, wich gives the puppies security and social skills.
All our dogs are cleared by a licenced specialist vetrinarian on heart, patella and eyes.
My breeding plan is to preserve typical Cavalier king Charles spaniels with good health and a beautiful exterior, which lives a healthy long life with its family.
As a member in the Swedish kennelclub and the Swedish Cavalier king Charles spaniel club we follow the Swedish breeding regulations and recommendations. All breeding dogs must also show good results on Dog Shows.

Are you planning to buy a Cavalier king Charles spaniel?
When you are planning to buy a puppy, you have probably concidered several breeds and decided that a Cavalier king Charles is best suited for you. Then you probably want to read as much as you can about the breed. I recommend a visit to Great Britain 's Cavalier Clubs website: www.thecavalierclub.co.uk
From my puppy buyers I expect that you have seriously considered buying a puppy. To own a dog is a great responsibility in up to 10 years or even longer.
A recommendation is to take some time off work when your new puppy arrives. A puppy can not be left alone for a long time.
Even adult dogs needs regularly walks and activity. So if you work for more than 4 hours will need to arrange proper day care for your dog.
A puppy should be trained basic skills and a puppy training course is suitable. These courses are very popular so you need to register in time.
A puppy costs money and the price to buy it is only a small part of it.
As a breeder I offer:
As a registered breeder I have a responsibility towards future puppy buyers: to show good healthy, happy dogs and to have a good relationship to future puppy buyers.
You should always feel that you can turn to me for advice and support, regardless of the issues.
I welcome rules and standards as guides for my breeding wich helps to produce health and happy pups. It also helps specialists to monitor the breeds development and gives a common interest to provide for the breeds good qualities as well as actively trying to reduced any sign of weakness and fault.
All my dogs are insured and all puppies are off course insured against hidden faults until the age of 3.
When a puppie moves to a new "pac" it needs the best presumptions . Before the puppys are born the bitch has been fed Royal Canin therfor its important to give the puppy the same food. You will also be given a toy and a blanket for the puppy for a familiar sence and security.
When the puppys move they have had their check-up at the vet (certificate not older than 7 days), vaccine, wormed , ID chip and they are registered at the Swedish Kennel Club.
Its important that you/your family agree on rules for the puppy in its new home, before it arrives.
All "Toftas dogs" meet for a reunion once a year in our garden for a nice and playful afternoon.
"Tofta dogs" are always welcome to us if you are planning a trip without your dog.
